Meaning:
P.D.A. is short for 'Public Display of Affection'. This means kissing or hugging or any kind of loving touch when it is done in front of other people. We usually say P.D.A. when we are complaining about it, so it has a slightly negative nuance.
P.D.A.とは、「キスやハグなど人前で愛情表現をすること」「イチャイチャする」という意味。”Public Display of Affection”の略。
通常、P.D.A.は文句を言うときに使うので、少しネガティブなニュアンスがあります。
Example:
A: Ugh. Look at that couple over there. Too much P.D.A... Get a room!
B: Oh, stop it! They're only kissing. It's young love. I think it's sweet.
A: It's rude. I don't want to watch that.
B: Ok, Grandad. No Public Displays of Affection for you.
